Lanetta Haynes Turner currently serves as Chief of Staff for Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle. Lanetta is a tireless advocate for reforming criminal justice. She has overseen expansion of anti-violence, anti-recidivism and restorative justice grants and has demonstrated a commitment not only to collaborate with various stakeholders in the public safety arena, but also to incorporate and encourage evidence-based policies and outcome-based measures in public safety reform. Lanetta is a graduate of Northwestern University and the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
